The socio-historical necessity created by the political-economic scenario of the 1990s played a crucial role in the emergence of the Trinamool Congress — a democratic response to the era of oppression and rigged elections in West Bengal.
The nationalism in Mamata Banerjee also inspired a vision to protect India’s national integrity from Stalinist influences through democratic means.
TMCS was born to connect like-minded individuals who support the values of democracy, progress, and the people’s voice.
